Sat Jan 11th: Host – Mike Hillyard
Themed Meeting Mike will project a set of AV shows prepared by Society members to fit a special theme. The theme for 2025 is “Something or Somewhere Special”. Your chance to show your AV show making skills – if you have or will have a show to offer please contact Mike. We will also be seeing a short promo AV about the 2025 Stereoscopic Society Convention in Southend-on-Sea.
Sat Feb 8th: Host – Bob Aldridge
Show & Tell. Bob will again be running this session where members have the chance to share their ideas, inventions, equipment and absolutely anything that might be of use or interest to stereographers! – if you have or will have something to offer, please contact Bob in advance by email: Bob@stereoscopy.net
Sat Mar 8th: Host – Helen Bovill
First half – “Members Favourite Images”. Members are requested to send in their favourite 3D image along with a paragraph explaining why it appeals to them so much.
Second half – Session 3 from the very well supported January meeting on the theme “Something/Somewhere Special” and Shows from Great Stereographers: (To include: John Hart, Pat Whitehouse and others from the archives)
Sat Apr 12th: Host – Girish Jeram
First half – Annual Exhibition show
Second half – Image critique. This is an opportunity for members to have their images discussed and analysed in a friendly non-competitive manor by their peers. Please send in up to five SbS images.
We will also continue to meet Virtually – Online on a weekly basis as we began doing through out the Pandemic, presenting 3D images and 3D Videos and discussing anything 3D related.
Some stereo supplies are usually available.
Location of meetings:
On street parking in central London is currently free on a Saturday outside the meeting hall and in surrounding streets, but spaces are extremely scarce. We strongly advise the use of public transport, Euston Station is immediately over the main road.
